Hawaii

My brother decided he had to get married in Maui on 1-11-2011 (A Tuesday!) So as we huffed and puffed (just a little) to get out there... we had an enjoyable time (Yes. We brought the kids.)

Aaron had to work the first day we were there. It was the start of his busy season when we left. Yes. He is still busy. Works 6-7 days and most of the nights a week.

Ring Nasty

I looked down at my ring today and noticed something yucky in it. So I picked at it. A little peice came out. The peice that came out looked like a long skinny leg. I looked closer at my ring... and sure enough a gross spider was smashed in it! What did I do to get spider smashed in my ring? I don't know, but that is nasty! I am still grossed out by it!

Temple Square

Whew! It has been busy. A quick catch up for personal records and an update for all of you who cared to know what was going on. The next several posts are of activities in December. And January posts.. soon to come (hopefully before January is over!)

We went to Utah for Christmas this year. While we were there we visited Temple Square when it was all lit up, very cool!

We got home New Years Day (by accident) and 4 days later flew to Oregon, stayed the night in Washington and woke up very early to catch our flight to Hawaii (yes, with our kids.)

Christmas in Draper

Christmas this year, we decided to go to Draper Utah to visit my Mommy. Out of the Eleven children my Mom and Terry have together we were the only ones there Christmas morning. It was special and lasted ALL morning!

Christmas Eve

We drove in that day and then saw the fantastic lights at Thanksgiving point that night. We opened up a couple gifts to get the excitement going. And we told and acted out the Christmas Story.

We went to Grandma's house to take pictures for the Christmas card. Her house is always festive and wherever you go it's Christmasy. So it was the best place to go. I took oh... about 96 pictures and of course it didn't turn out how I wanted it. Henry basically took off crawling the sedcond we put him down. Caroline was surprisingly spectacular! Here are just a few cute ones or bloopers!

Sleigh Ride

In December, Sarah and Christian took our family on a sleigh ride through downtown. It was cold that night, but we all LOVED it! Thanks you two!
